Nox System Service Exception error - try this way

Sometimes, when your PC hardware have a problem, example graphic card, you might encounter this error if you run Nox android emulator. "Nox System Service Exception error", yes and you can't even get into it and the program will stuck there. You can't play Google Play games, you can't open WhatsApp and so on.

Don't uninstall and reinstall the software yet. Maybe there are many other ways to solve this, but my only way that usually helped and solved this problem is just by RESTART the PC and ENTER BIOS SETUP first. You don't need to change anything in it. Next, quit BIOS and PC restart again. After that, try see this problem has been solved yet or not.

Good luck try this humble way ;-)

Computer Restart or Blue Screen while playing PC Games? Solution ...

This problem usually happen when we play games with high quality graphics, using a not-good specification PC overall.

The elder scroll 5 - Skyrim screenshot
TES Skyrim game screenshot

Solution? These are the simple steps;

- Restore your graphic card setting to default (if u changed / tweaked it before). Then change texture quality to HIGH PERFORMANCE (or whatever same setting with different name depends on your graphic card).

- If still restart or BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death), then change in-game setting also. Lowering texture quality.

I'm not sure the exact reason why it happen, but usually it related with TEXTURE QUALITY. Maybe your PSU not enough watt (example; graphic card like nVidia GTX 560 needs 500W ++). Or maybe GPU or CPU overheating, or else.

I hope this info can release your tension :-D

- If the problem still going on, maybe your OS or PC have something wrong, sorry.  All the best dudes .......

How to fix GameGuard error?

I don't know with other cases. But in my case, i just go to the game folder, (example: c:\\program files\M U Online), and search for GameGuard folder. Delete the folder, and restart the game. It will automatically creates a new and fresh GameGuard folder. That's all. I hope this will help, all the best :)

Copy files in PC faster

I'm amaze with this new software, very small in size but really gives satisfaction. If you want to copy and paste your files faster in your PC, i recommend you to use Teracopy.

Below is briefing from their website;

TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, providing the user with a lot of features:

Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives.

Check invisible IDs on Yahoo Messenger

If you want to know whether your buddy or anyone else online or invisible or offline, use the Yahoo detector tool. You can detect them even if they use Yahoo messenger standard program or Meebo, Pidgin, eBuddy and others.

Go to the website here, put a Yahoo Messenger ID in the box and click Check user. It will check and show you if the yahoo ID is invisible, online or offline. It also shows the avatar and other information about yahoo IDs.

You don't have to install other software which might be malware, spyware or other security risks. It's so simple to use.

But you just can check one ID per search. However, its better than nothing right? ....... Try it and you can be a spy like James Bond .......  All the best  :)

How to click link and open in a new tab easily?

How do you click link to open in a new window or tab? If you still use right click and choose Open in a new tab / window, you may change it right now :D Because in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, you just need to click the middle button of your mouse on a link, and it will open in a new tab.

I hope this is clear and you can understand. Don;t think hard, just click the mouse with the middle button on a link, that's all.

Happy surfing, have nice days :)

How to avoid keyloggers from stealing your password

Keylogger is one of  Spyware applications that monitor a user's keystrokes and then send this information back to the malicious user. Usually, bad people will use it to steal your Username and Password by detecting keystrokes. If you want to know more about Keylogger, read on Wikipedia.

Now i just wanna share a few ways to avoid Keyloggers from stealing your password.

1. First, of course you must install antivirus and anti spyware that can detect Keylogger also. But not all Keylogger they can detect. So don't rely 100% on your security applications.

2. Some say we can just type our password in Notepad first and then paste in the password box at the website that we want to login. But we must know, there are Keyloggers that can record all your keystrokes.

3. So the better alternative to enter your sensitive password is by using Virtual Keyboard / On Screen Keyboard. But you must also know, there are some keyloggers are designed to capture screenshots on every mouse-click.

4. What you must do is to enter a character by hovering the mouse cursor over a letter. The On Screen Keyboard in Windows XP has this function.

How to set On Screen Keyboard to read character by mouse over?

1. First Open On Screen Keyboard. Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - Accessibility - On Screen Keyboard.

2. In On Screen Keyboard application, Click Settings - Typing Mode.

3. Choose Hover to select , enter minimum time to hover. I recommend to choose 3 seconds. That's more comfortable i think.

4. Done.

So remember to do this next time you want to enter a sensitive password of your bank account, online payment or other similar things, especially when you do this at cyber cafe or other outlets. All the best :)

How to play FLV video file in a playlist

When you download a video file from Youtube or most of the video websites alike it, you will get a file in FLV format. You can play it in an FLV player as an example but cannot do it in playlist mode because there is no option in FLV player to play the video in a playlist. Usually you must convert the file tp AVI or other formats first to play in playlist.

But with Media Player Classic, you don't have to convert the file if you are lazy and not have enough time to do so. You just can play the FLV video files in it and can arrange the videos in a playlist. The option is in a View menu.

I'm not using Media Player Classic to open all kind of video files, but for FLV video files, this software is my best choice. But to make it more perfect and support almost all kind of video formats, you must add the proper codecs to it like K-Lite codec pack.

How to browse the internet more efficiently

Browsing the internet is one way to enrich our knowledge and productivity in life. When we browse the internet , of course speed and comfortable is the priority. There are a few things that will make your browsing slow and less efficient. I got a few tips here of how to get the optimal browsing and prevent the slow down.

1. Clear cache

Your web browser will collect the information of every websites that you have been visited and it will store the info in a cache that was located in a hard disk in your PC. The cache is useful if you revisit the certain website and will use the stored info to speed up the page loading time.

But the cache will become full and use more space in your hard disk. The data will become obsolete and display the old information. So you can enhance the browser capability by clearing the cache on schedule.

Read more at How to clear Cache and Browsing history in Firefox 3.5 and Google Chrome

2. Clear history

While Internet surfing your browser records all your actions: every website you visited, every search string you entered in search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN), information you entered on websites, and more ...

3. Use browser add-ons but not too many.

Browser add-ons are little programs that do a specific job to enhance your online experience and add new features. If you are an active member of Flickr then use add-on for Flickr. If you are an active member of Twitter then use add-on for Twitter, and so on. It is to ensure that you get the latest updates and manage your activity better and faster. There are also add ons to customize the look of your browser. Use only add ons that you think very important for you. But remember, using too many add-ons will take up bandwidth and slow you down.

4. Use shortcut key in the browser, ie;

CTRL + S = To save the webpage
CTRL + A = Select all contents on a webpage
CTRL + C = To copy highlighted texts
CTRL + X = Cut the highlighted texts (Only works in text editor like blog post editor, email etc.)
CTRL + V = To paste highlighted texts
CTRL + B = View Bookmarks bar
CTRL + P = To open printer dialog box
CTRL + R = Refresh page
CTRL + W = Close Tab / Window
CTRL + F = To find a word in webpage

In the video above, I use the CTRL + F key in Google Chrome web browser. You can also use it in any other browsers.

etc .......

5. Manage Bookmarks

Arrage and manage your Bookmarks for future faster access to your favourite websites.

6. If you want to search for text only information, don't allow images to load. This setting in Firefox 3.5 is in the Tools menu - Options - Content , uncheck the Load images automatically box.

You can also uncheck Enable Javascript and Enable Java. The browsing will be more faster because the javascript will not load. But you cannot see features that related to javascript like animations, interactive contents and so on.

I still not found the setting to prevent image loading in Google Chrome. I think there is no option for it yet.

7. Besides using Antivirus, use also Spyware/Malware and Adware removal tools. This is very important because a free Antivirus did't trained to remove or detect spywares and adwares. So the solution for spyware and adware problem is just anti spyware and anti adware programs.

The spywares usually use our internet bandwidth, so they can slow down our browsing. [Spyware is a type of malware that is installed on computers and that collects information about users without their knowledge. The presence of spyware is typically hidden from the user. Typically, spyware is secretly installed on the user's personal computer. Sometimes, however, spywares such as keyloggers are installed by the owner of a shared, corporate, or public computer on purpose in order to secretly monitor other users. - wikipedia]

There are many spyware and adware removal tools, but for free and good programs, i recommend you to download Lavasoft Ad-aware and Spybot Search and Destroy.

8. Search with a reliable and super fast search engine like Google search. Just type keyword, not type full sentences unless they are quotes or something similar.

How to install Official Google Chrome themes

Google Chrome default skin is blue and there is no option in the browser to change the skin / theme. But Google provided to you a few themes that can be download free and apply easily. You don't have to copy here and paste there if you want to download and install Google Chrome official theme to your Chrome browser. Just go to https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/index.html , choose the theme you like and click the Apply theme button, the Save As dialog box will appear, choose where you want to download the .crx file, and click Save button. It will change your theme automatically and dramatically.

You just need to have Google Chrome version 3.0.195.6 and above, because it will not works to the older version. There are 29 themes to choose so far. The video below will show you how easy to Apply official theme to Google Chrome.

There is also another way to apply the unofficial Google Chrome theme to your browser, but that method is quite fussy and sometime is not working and the theme will go crazy. I prefer the official Google Chrome method even the theme is not that many.

How to work with PC more efficiently

The reason for using Personal Computer (PC) is to make work easier and faster. So the knowledge about how to use PC more efficiently is very important to save time and energy. I will give a few tips about how to use PC more efficiently.

1. Make sure you know what you want to do and what is the purpose of using a PC. Good planning is absolutely required to avoid "daydreaming" in front of a PC :D

2. Always make backups of your works. This is to prevent data loss.

3. Make sure your mind and your vision are in a comfortable condition. Do not expose your eyes continuously for too long to the monitor screen.

4. Make sure your hand and palm are in a rest condition. Do not tap hard on your keyboard when you are typing (raise hands higher), but press softly even you type fast. This is more relaxing.

5. If you want to select all the contents of your documents (in Microsoft Word for example), you can also use a keyboard combination key, by pressing key CTRL + A. CTRL + A means you press the CTRL key on your keyboard and the A key at the same time.

6. If you want to Cut the text in your document, highlight the text with your mouse or press the SHIFT key + the ARROW key to which the appropriate direction. And then press CTRL + X to Cut. To paste it to somewhere else, press CTRL + V on a targetted or desired place.

7. To Copy the text, highlight the text and press CTRL + C, same way as to Cut the text like above.

8. To save the document, or also can be applied to webpage, press CTRL + S . This method is faster than you go to the File Menu and select the Save as option.

9. To print the document faster, press CTRL + P, the print dialog box will appear.

10. To switch to other program that is currently running (whether it is minimized) , press ALT + TAB repeatedly until you choose your desired program.

11. If you want to delete a file or icon, click on it and press Delete key.

12. If you want to Find words in a Microsoft Word, Notepad, or even webpage, just press CTRL + F . The Find box will appear and then you type in whatever word that you want to find. If the word exists in the document or webpage you are in, it will highlight each word one by one. The demo video below will show you the usage of CTRL + F in a webpage;

In the video above, I use the CTRL + F key in Google Chrome web browser. You can also use it in any other browsers.

13. Use related desktop enhancement softwares to make your work neater and faster. Read also the topics below;

14. Practise makes perfect. Good luck and all the best ;)

How to put RSS feed in Google Desktop Sidebar

There is a cooler way to use RSS feed and receiving latest updates faster and easier. You can just see the updates on your desktop (in the sidebar) without opening the web browser. Watch the silent tutorial below :D

There are many more cool features in Google sidebar. I will try to make a demo video about it. But for those who like to always change the skin, the bad news is Google Desktop can only be skinned programatically and there is no option in the program itself, not like a few other desktop sidebars that have many skins to choose from. But the default appearance of Google sidebar is quite interesting and it is easier to use. Google only concentrate on RSS and News, and I personally like Google sidebar because of this.

Till then, take care and all the best :)

How to fix 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience' error

How many of you faced the Windows Explorer crash? How many of you have seen the error says 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience' ? I'm sure almost all of you have seen that error message whether you remember or not. But how you settle it? Maybe you have your own way to settle it. But for me, the best I can do is just by using ShellExView software.

The above error is usually caused by a bad Context Menu handler. A context menu handler is a shell extension handler that adds commands to an existing context menu (Example like cut, copy, paste, print, Scan with Antivirus etc). A poorly coded context menu handler by a software maker may be causing any of the above symptoms. As context menu handlers can be added in different areas (file class, folder, allfilesystemobjects, HKCR\* registry keys), it's a difficult task for an end-user to pinpoint which shell extension is causing the problem.

How to use ShellExView?

ShellExView is a Shell Extensions Manager. The ShellExView utility displays the details of shell extensions installed on your computer, and allows you to easily disable and enable each shell extension. It also allows you to solve Context Menu problems in Windows Explorer.

Some of the extensions have a pink background text, such as Yahoo Toolbar in a screenshot below. They are non-Microsoft extensions.

To know which one gives you problem, you must try to disable by right clicking and choose 'Disable selected items' at the extension (or press F7) one by one. Then do what usually makes the error appears. In my case here, I solved my problem after I disabled Avast. The error does not appear anymore when I browse through My Computer. So you need to test one by one to figure out. But I suggest you to disable all the non-Microsoft extensions first one by one.

Remember to re-enable back the extension as long as the problem doesn't fixed, and leave it disabled after the problem fixed.

I hope this will help. For further info and download , go to http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html . It is just a freeware. All the best :)

- Actually , my problem with 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience' is not finish quite good with the above method. Until after i removed Rocket Dock from my desktop, i'm very satisfied with the result until now.

Maybe it's because i installed Rocket Dock and Object Dock altogether, and they are clash. Now i just leave Object Dock and uninstall Rocket Dock. You can try this method too if you don't succeed with the above method.

Amd sorry Rocket Dock, i'm just sharing here. Maybe you can use either Rocket Dock or Object Dock, but only one in a time to avoid 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'.

Guide to Digital compression

History of compression

In the early days of the internet, when analog modems were the only means of connecting to the virtual world and bandwidth was a valuable commodity, the ability to transmit great amounts of information using the least amount of bits and bytes was paramount. Even today in the new world of broadband and instant computing, this is still the case.

Audio, video and images inherently take up an enormous amount of space in the digital world of ones and zeros, and if one wanted to create and transmit these files in their raw size, they would take too long and use up too much valuable bandwidth.

Hence compression techniques came into play, reducing size of media files so that they can be transmitted quickly and more efficiently. The infamous and probably most controversial of them all is the Mpeg-1 Layer-3 format, or more commonly known as the Mp3.

A single song in its raw format is about 30MB to 50MB, but the Mp3 compression allows one to reduce it to barely a tenth of its size, allowing music files to be easily shared, which led to the boom in peer-to-peer sharing programs and grand-daddy of them all, Napster.

Main types of compression

There are two main terms one needs to remember when dealing with compression - Lossy and Lossless. Both refers to the method of compression used, and depending on the codec of choice, determines the final quality of the file.

Lossless data compression is a class of data compression algorithms that allow the original data to be exactly reconstructed from the compressed data.

While Lossy data compression where compressing a file and decompressing it retrieves a file that may well be different to the original, but is 'close enough' to be useful in some way.

The advantage of Lossy methods over Lossless method is that a Lossy method will usually produce a much smaller compressed file than any known Lossless method.

Compressed Audio format

Lossy audio format

1. Mp3
Mp3 means MPEG-1 Audio layer 3, and is only one way of converting music into digital files. MPEG (Motion Picture Expert Group) is a family of standards for displaying video and audio using lossy compression, set by the Industry Standard Organization (ISO).

It is based on a psycho-acoustic model which recognizes that the human ear cannot hear all the audio frequencies of a recording. The human hearing range between 20hz to 20Khz and it is most sensitive between 2 to 4Khz. The extreme compression level from a 45MB Mp3 file is achieved by filtering out all data that represent frequencies that are not detectable by the human ear.

When encoding a file into Mp3 format, a variety of compression levels can be set. For instance, an Mp3 created with 128 kilobit compression will be of a greater quality and larger file size than that of a 56 kilobit compression, thus the more the compression level increases, the lower the sound quality will be.

2. WMA
Windows Media audio (WMA) is a proprietary compressed audio file format developed by Microsoft, initially meant to be a competitor to Mp3. Similar to Mp3, you can set a WMA encoder's compression levels to attain smaller file sizes, but with lower sound quality.

3. OGG
The development of the OGG standard began in 1993, then known as 'Squish'. It is an open source project , and hence is free of any patents. The files are backward campatible and it can be played with older player as well.

4. AAC
Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is a lossy data compression scheme intended for audio streams. AAC was designed as an improved-perfomance codec relative to Mp3. It takes sample frequencies from 8 Khz to 96 Khz, up to 48 channels, which mean that the files sound better and more stable that Mp3 files at equivalent or lower bitrates.

5. ATRAC
A proprietary compression format from Sony, Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding (ATRAC) is primarily used in its minidisc products and other portable players.

6. AC-3
Developed by Dolby Laboratories, Audio Code Number 3 (AC-3) refers to a multichannel music compression technology.

7. DTS
Created by Digital Theater Systems (DTS), the format was introduced in theaters in 1993 with Steven Spielberg's blockbuster movie Jurassic Park. DTS is compressed at a ratio about 3:1 from PCM audio recorded with a sample rate at 96 kHz and 20-bit sample size. DTS is also capable of encoding PCM with a sample rate up to 192 kHz and 24-bit sample size with 8 discrete channels.

Lossless audio format

1. APE
APE files are created by Monkey's Audio, which is considered the best Windows-only lossless audio encoder for archiving music because of its efficient file sizes and encoding/decoding speeds. Unlike lossy methods that permanently discard data to save space, Monkey's Audio compresses audio in a mathematically perfect way, creating bit-for-bit copies.

Therefore, an APE file compressed with Monkey's Audio always sound the same as the source file, no matter how many times the resulting file is burnt to a CD, ripped and re-encoded.

2. ALAC
Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) is an audio codec developed by Apple for lossless encoding of music. Supported by iPod in Quicktime and iTunes, it is not a variant of AAC but a totally new codec.

3. FLAC
Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) is a multiplatform, open-sourced lossless compression codec. While not as efficient as APE, its primary advantage is its crossplatform support. FLAC has become the preferred lossless format for tranferring live music online because of its lossless algorithm ensures the highest fidelity to the source material.

Compressed video format

Video compression refers to reducing the quantity of data used to represent digital video images, and is a combination of spatial image compression and temporal motion compensation. Video compression is an example of the concept of source coding in Information theory.

Lossy video format

1. MPEG
The Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG - pronounced M-peg) is a small group charged with the development of video and audio encoding standards. Using lossy data compression , samples of picture or sound are taken, chopped into small segments, transformed into a frequency space, and quantized. There are several standards of MPEG (as shown below), each standard having different levels of picture and sound quality respectively.

MPEG-1 - Initial video and audio compression standard. Later used as the standard for video CD, its output quality is comparable to VHS.

MPEG-2 - Transport, video and audio standards for broadcast-quality television, it is also with some modifications, the coding format used by standard commercial DVD movies.

MPEG-4 - Expands MPEG-1 to support video/audio 'objects' , 3D content, low bitrate encoding and support for Digital Rights Management. Primarily used for web-streaming and broadcast television.

2. XviD
XviD is a GPL open-sourced MPEG-4 video codec. Originally based on OpenDivX, XviD was started by a group of volunteer programmers after the OpenDivX source was closed.

3. DivX
DivX is a video codec created at DivX Networks Inc. known for its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes. A typical feature-length movie on DVD is around 5GB to 6GB in size. With DivX, a movie can be compressed to around 700MB, which will fit on a CD with minimal loss in quality. Most videos you download in AVI format are encoded in DivX.

4. WMV
Windows Media Video (WMV) is a generic name for the set of proprietary streaming video technologies from Microsoft. The video stream is often combined with an audio stream of Windows Media Audio (WMA).

Lossless video format

Video compression is necessary for efficient coding of video data in video file formats and streaming video formats. However the methods used usually require discarding data rather than just reducing the required bandwidth. So while lossless video compression is possible, in practise it is virtually never used, as video data already contains spacial and temporal redundancy, all standard video data rate reduction involves removing data.

Compressed image formats

Lossy image formats

1. JPEG
Joint Photographic Expert Group (JPEG) is the most common format used for storing and transmitting photographs in the digital world. JPEG itself specifies only how an image is transformed into a stream of bytes, a further standard, created by the independent JPEG Group, called JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF) further specifies how to produce a file suitable for computer storage and transmission.

The JPEG format supports the RGB, CMYK and grayscale colour spaces. However even though it's the most common format used for storing and transmitting photographs on the internet, it is not as well suited for line drawings and other textual or iconic graphics because its compression method perfoms badly on these types of images.

2. JPEG 2000
JPEG 2000 is a wavelet-based image compression standard. It was created by the same group of people who came up with the JPEG standard, with the intention of superseding the original. JPEG 2000 is able to operate at higher compression ratios without generating the characteristic 'blocky and blurry' artifacts of the original JPEG standard. However it remains unpopular until now.

Lossless image formats

1. TIFF
Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) files come in several versions, but the most common is the uncompressed TIFF. Unlike JPEG that compresses (and throws away data) during re-saves, re-saving a TIFF image does not result in any data loss and quality degradation. It is also the most common file format found in imaging applications, and is popularly used in the printing industry. Furthermore, it is supported by both the PC and Mac.

2. GIF
Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) is a bitmap image format that is widely used on the World Wide Web, both for still images and for animations. First introduced in 1987, GIF is palette based, however their maximum number of colours available for each frame is only 256.

3. PNG
A relatively new bitmap image format that is becoming popular on the internet and elsewhere. Portable Network Graphics (PNG) was largely developed to deal with some of the shortcomings of the GIF format and it addresses several issues that plague GIF, like colour depth and pattent issues.

PNG uses a non-patented lossless data compression method known as deflation. This method is combined with prediction, where for each image line, a filter method is chosen that predicts the colour of each pixel based on the colours of previous pixels and subtracts the predicted colours of the pixel from the actual colour.

4. BMP
BMP is a bitmapped graphics format used internally by the Microsoft Windows graphics subsystem, and commonly used as a simple graphics file format on that platform. Images are generally stored with a colour depth of 2 (1-bit), 16 (4-bit), 256 (8-bit), 65,536 (16-bit) or 16.7 million (24-bit).

8 bit images can also be grayscale instead of colour. Although BMP files are usually not compressed, they can be compressed using the lossless RLE algorithm. A BMP image can be quite large depending on its colour depth and size. A true colour bitmap of 800x600 resolution can occupy as much as 1.5 MB, making them unsuitable for rendering on websites and slow bandwidth transfers.

Run Windows XP inside Linux Mint 7 with VirtualBox OSE

I installed VirtualBox OSE couples days ago in my Linux Mint 7. Of course my purpose is to run another OS in this Linux OS and this time i try to run Windows XP as a virtual machine in it. Before i installed it i thought the virtual machine can read all partitions in my hard disk. Apparently, it can only read the virtual partition that i made at the installed process of Guest OS (Windows Xp) in VirtualBox.

So i must install all the Windows application that i want to use back in that Windows XP in the VirtualBox. It is rather i must install it from a cd / dvd, other removable devices or from the internet. If you want to connect to the internet inside that guest OS, you must first disconnect from Host OS (in this case Linux Mint 7 is the Host OS). I try to connect in the guest OS while in the Host OS is still connecting to the internet but it is not succeed. Maybe it cannot use 2 in 1 connection :D

And unfortunately to me, i set the partition size to this guest OS only 4.5GB. This because i thought it can read other partitions also before. So maybe i will create a New virtual machine again in that VirtualBox, set the partition with larger size that will suit my work in a future, and delete present Virtual machine (guest OS). The snapshot below is the image of My Computer inside the present virtual machine (Windows XP).

Look at the size of C drive, only 4.5GB :D And that virtual machine is inside the windows that can be resized and also can view in fullscreen when we press key CTRL + F. We can set whether to press left CTRL or right CTRL, depends on which is more confortable to us.

The default setting is we must press CTRL key before we can navigate inside the virtual machine and press CTRL again to go out and navigate in Linux again. But there is an easy way that we don't have to do that. Just install Guest additions (option under the Device menu) and it will install the virtual cd inside the virtual machine and we don't have to press CTRL anymore if we want to work in the virtual machine or out of it. And the screen size also enhanced, it will fit the windows when we resize and will full on the screen when we toggle to fullscreen. Below is the snapshots of before using Guest additions and after using it;

Winxp fullscreen before installing Guest additions - a bit like this

Winxp fullscreen after installing Guest additions

Until here for this time, i don't know if i will use this way or not later on because this will use more space in hard disk and quite fussy of course. Maybe i will just using dual boot like before. All the best :)
