Hackers jam traffic in Moscow with pornographic video

Moscow drivers squinted in disbelief as an electronic big-screen video motorway billboard ran a two-minute pornographic clip posted by hackers, instead of its regular advertising clips.

A couple’s explicit escapades appeared on the 9-by-6-yard display. Some people took pictures of the sight with their mobile phones and posted them on the internet.

The company that operates the billboards, Panno.ru, said hackers were behind a graphic sex video broadcast late Thursday night on two roadside screens along Moscow's Garden Ring Road, one of the city's busiest arteries.

"This was an attack by hackers on the computers, as a result of which one of the commercial video clips was swapped for an indecent video," Panno.ru commercial director Viktor Laptev told RIA-Novosti.

He speculated the attack could have been linked to competition on the advertising market, or simply "hooliganism."

Witnesses said traffic crawled to a halt as unbelieving motorists craned their necks to stare at the X-rated clip which ran for about 20 minutes on the oversized screens.

30 injured in Hong Kong acid attack

30 people have been injured, including nine foreign tourists and a child, by corrosive liquid hurled in one of Hong Kong's favourite tourist spots, the sixth such attack reported in just over a year.

Police received reports at around 9:30pm last night (local time) that a bottle of corrosive liquid had been thrown in the Temple Street night market in Yau Ma Tei district, a lively shopping area that hosts hawkers, fortune-tellers and nightclubs, a spokesman said.

Two bottles, apparently containing corrosive liquid, are believed to have been thrown to a pedestrian zone from a nearby building.

No serious injuries have been reported. The 19 men and 11 women injured had been sent to hospital, the spokesman said.

A large team of police and firemen had been despatched to the scene but no arrests had been made, he said.

There have been five previous acid attacks and more than 100 people have been injured in Hong Kong since late 2008. Three took place in densely populated Mong Kok, another shopping quarter neighbouring Yau Ma Tei.

Last month six people were injured when a bottle of acid was hurled down a street in Causeway Bay, another shopping hub which was packed with people celebrating the Hong Kong football team's victory over Japan in the East Asian Games final.

Police have previously offered 1.5 million Hong Kong dollars (£120,000; $190,000) for useful information on the attacks.

A rooftop camera network was set up over Mong Kok, the site of one attack, has failed to catch those responsible.

Despite repeated appeals to the public for information about the culprit, or culprits, no one has been charged. The police said it was unclear whether the cases were connected.

11, 13 and 14 year old boys charged with Xmas Eve gang rape of girl, 12

Detectives have charged three boys over the gang rape of a 12-year-old girl on Xmas Eve in Western Australia's Kimberley region.

The girl visited the boys at a house in Kununurra, in the state's Top End on Xmas Day. WA police allege the boys, aged 11, 13 and 14, had sex with the girl while she was drunk and asleep at the house.

Kununurra Detective Senior Constable Alan Goodger today confirmed the trio had been charged with sexual penetration of a child under 13.

The 11-year-old and the 14-year-old have been granted bail while the 13-year-old has been remanded in custody.

The boys are due to appear in the Kununurra Children's Court on February 19.

Two Argentine men, first gay wedding in Latin America

The purpose of marriage is to spiritually, emotionally and physically unite a man and a women together, as husband and wife, in a covenantal relationship between themselves and their Creator.

But what is the purpose of gay marriage? Only for sex? How to give birth if man married man?

Two Argentine men have defied national law to wed in Latin America's first same-sex marriage.

Last month, a lower court judge in Buenos Aires cleared the way for the marriage by dismissing Argentina's marriage laws as unconstitutional.

But then the couple could not find an official in Buenos Aires who would agree to marry them. In the end the two travelled 2,000 kilometres to the far south of Argentina where they were able to get married.

Gay marriage is illegal in Argentina, but the provincial governor issued a special decree to allow the two men to wed.

One of the grooms, Jose Maria Di Bello, says he hopes his marriage will set a precedent for other countries.

"I want this union to symbolise that this point, the further south in the world is the end of the world, but also the beginning of everything," he said.

"And from Ushuaia, the city further south in the world and from Argentina we are shedding light, to the whole of Latin America and the Carribbean."

In much of the commentary in Argentine media, the idea of same-sex marriage is still considered scandalous and in general homosexuality is frowned upon.

The Catholic Church has expressed concern over the wedding.

2 year old boy with 50 needles inside his body

A 2-year-old Brazilian boy has as many as 50 metal sewing needles inside his body which were allegedly inserted during a black magic ritual, local media has said. A doctor treating him said on Wednesday they were apparently stuck there one by one.

Dr Luiz Cesar Soltoski said surgeons hoped to remove most of the needles – some as long as 2in (5cm) – but because some were in his lungs, they had to wait until the child's breathing improved. Some could not be removed, they were too close to vital organs or inside them, he said.

The boy's mother, a maid, took him to hospital in the small north-eastern city of Ibotirama last week, saying he was complaining of pain. Three days later, after x-rays revealed some of the needles, doctors had him shifted to a larger hospital in Barreiras.

The mother told police she did not know how the needles had got there, but they are investigating.The boy's name was withheld because of his age.

Soltoski said he believed the needles were stuck into his body one by one because it would have been impossible for him to swallow them. "We think it could have only been by penetration because we found needles in the lung, the left leg and in different parts of the thorax. It couldn't have been by ingestion," he said.

Doctors found no signs of outside wounds, but x-ray images carried by Brazilian websites showed some needles inside his body.

The boy is in intensive care, but Soltoski said his condition had improved since he was admitted.

Chinese girl has rusty needle removed from head after 11 years

Desperate for a son is the desire in China that when baby Pingping was born it is thought her relatives tried to kill her by jamming a needle into her head. Her death would have allowed the parents to try again under the strict "one couple, one child" family planning policy.

But the little girl, who is 11 now, did not die. This week, doctors took her into surgery and removed the needle that they believe was the cause of the child’s mental disabilities.

Kuang Yongqin, deputy director of the neurosurgery department at a military hospital in the southwestern city of Chengdu, led the operation. "This is evil," Kuang said afterwards.

The mother of Pingping (not her real name) said she had reported the case to the police and was planning to bring charges against family members who may have been responsible for the attempted murder of her daughter. Police had advised the mother, Yang Xiaohui, to keep the needle as well as a scan that showed the object buried in the head of her daughter.

The needle was so firmly embedded in Pingping’s head and so rusty that doctors estimated it had been in place for at least ten years. They could not pull it out but had to remove it by slowly twisting it. Hospital staff told The Times that Pingping was doing well, but it was unlikely that she would recover from her disability.

In 2007, doctors in southwestern Yunnan province discovered 26 needles in the body of a 29-year-old woman. They were believed to have been inserted not long after she was born by grandparents upset that she was not a boy.

Man arrested in sexual assault of 91 year old

Broward County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested a suspect linked to the brutal sexual assault of a 91-year-old woman in November. Authorities are charging Chad Weiner, 38, with burglary, sexual battery and kidnapping.

Chad Weiner, 38, was arrested after leaving his Tamarac home in South Florida on Wednesday. Authorities say a DNA analysis and other evidence tie him to the crime.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the victim told she was at home sleeping when she woke up at 2 a.m on Nov. 19 and found Weiner in her residence.

Police say Weiner then told the woman, "This won't take long." The intruder then bound and raped her. Police say the elderly woman, whose name was not released, was distraught from the traumatic experience and was taken to the Florida Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators then took her to the Sexual Assault Treatment Center. During their investigation police ascertained why there was no sign of forced entry into the woman's apartment. Reportedly she lost her wallet a few days earlier and in the walled was a spare house key.

Detectives were able to trace a call Weiner made to the victim hours before he entered her home. However, he denied knowing anything and consented to a DNA swab.

Weiner has no criminal record and is reported to be a chef at a local restaurant and lives with his parents a mile away from the victim's home.

Indonesian man's sex organs chopped off

Police had a gruesome experience when they responded to a call from residents of the Taman Pelangi flats in Bukit Mertajam, Selangor, Malaysia on Tuesday.

They found the badly slashed and naked body of an Indonesian man in a bedroom at one of the units on the fourth floor of Block E.

The deceased’s penis and testicles had been chopped off and left next to the body. An Indonesian woman who was found injured in another bedroom in the unit has been arrested.

The woman, who had bruises on her face, was taken to the Seberang Jaya Hospital where she was admitted. She is in her 30s. It is learnt that she was still in a state of shock Wednesday.

Police also recovered a broken piece of the window pane glass which is believed to be the murder weapon, as well instruments for consuming drugs.

The woman had valid travel documents but police were investigating if the deceased, who was either in his 30s or 40s, was in the country legally.

Central Seberang Prai acting OCPD Supt Mohan Singh said the murder was believed to have been committed as early as 4am that day as several residents heard a loud quarrel and the throwing of things.

“We have yet to determine the relationship between the man and woman. We will investigate on the motive. We are also checking whether there was a quarrel between the two or if there was involvement of a third party,” he said.

Supt Mohan Singh did not reveal the identity of the victim whose body was sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for a post mortem.

He urged those with information or had witnessed the murder to contact investigation officer ASP Mohd Naim Asnawi at 019-5728844 or the nearest police station.

Sick mum abused six kids with screwdriver and kitchen utensils

A sadistic mother-of-eight has been found guilty of subjecting six of her children to a "sickening" six-year campaign of abuse and neglect.

The mum beat her children, all aged under 16, with objects including a belt, a broken coat hanger and a meat tenderising mallet, a court heard.

The 37-year-old was found guilty of 18 charges of horrific abuse including scratching one of her daughters with a knife and burning another with a hot screwdriver.

Cambridgeshire County Council admitted monitoring the family since 1999 yet charges were only brought after two children discussed the abuse with a teacher.

The mum, a Jamaican national living in Cambridge, was found guilty of nine counts of assaulting a child under 16 in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering with injury to the child's health. She was also convicted of one count of affray and two counts of witness intimidation.

Her reign of terror against her children, aged between four and 16, lasted from January 1, 2002, to July 1, 2008, Cambridge Crown Court was told during a five-week trial.

Mother sold daughter for sex

On Sunday, authorities arrested Antoinette Nicole Davis (who has been charged with human trafficking and child abuse involving prostitution), Shaniya's mother. The charges against Davis are related to her daughter's disappearance, said Theresa Chance, a spokeswoman for Fayetteville police.

According to arrest documents cited by The Fayetteville Observer, Davis "knowingly provide(d) Shaniya Davis, 5 year old, with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude" and she "permit(ted) an act of prostitution."

Shaniya had only been living with her mother since last month. Davis reported the girl missing Tuesday morning from a mobile home community in Fayetteville, and authorities began searching nearby wooded areas.

Camera footage showed Mario Andrette McNeill carrying Shaniya into a hotel room, and he was arrested and charged with kidnapping on Friday. A kidnapping charge against a man described as Davis' boyfriend was dropped.

Authorities have said McNeill admitted to taking the girl, though his attorney says he will plead not guilty to the charge. They have not said if McNeill and Davis knew each other.

Police said a hotel worked spotted a child matching Shaniya's description at the hotel in Sanford, about 40 miles from Fayetteville. Relatives helped confirm that the child on the recording was Shaniya.

Fayetteville police officer Brian Gainey said Davis did not have an attorney and was scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Shaniya's father, Bradley Lockhart, told The Associated Press that he raised his daughter for several years but last month decided to let her stay with her mother.

"I should've never let her go over there," he said Saturday. Lockhart said he did not know McNeill.

Teenager rapes again days after judge spared him jail

A teenager who kidnapped and raped a five-year-old boy, eight days after avoiding custody for another rape, has been detained for at least three years.

The 16-year-old admitted offences against the second boy including rape and child abduction.

Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court heard the attack happened after he was given a community order for the rape of a boy aged seven in Tameside.

The first sentence, by Judge Adrian Smith, provoked a legal challenge. On Wednesday, the attacker, who cannot be named, was given an indeterminate sentence for protection of the public after committing a second attack.

16 year old girl raped by 23 gang members

23 persons from a local youth gang from the Huay Yai and Pattaya area have been held responsible for the pack rape of two 16 year old female students who where lured to a remote location by the gang via a deceitful phone call made by a female friend.

Pattaya, 7th of November 2009 (PDN): Police recently issued information regarding the pack rape of Ple (disguise name) age 16, a student in her 2nd year of a vocational certificate at a local Pattaya college. Ple filed a report on the incident at the Huay Yai Police Station stating that a group of 7 men coerced her down to the forest by using the phone number of a female friend where they proceeded to rape her one at a time after which they left her alone.

After only a few days following Ple’s statement, a 2nd girl called Bee (disguise name) age 16, now known to be a friend of Ple, also studying a vocational certificate at the same local college, came into the Huay Yai Police Station. Bee filed a similar report saying that around the beginning of September 2009 a group of 23 gang members between the ages of 16-18 pack raped her, in similar circumstances to Ple’s case. Bee informed police that the gang had rapped her on several occasions in a similar location to where Ple described her ordeal taking place.

Bee (disguise name) further revealed to police that the gang always used the same methods in luring their victims, asking a female friend to call their victim and invite them outside, after which the gang follows the girl and proceeds to pack rape them. The gang is believed to consist of approximately 23 members and their leader is known as “Jo Huay Yai”. The Police have recently arrested 3 boys from the gang known as Pee (disguise name) age 16, Ball (disguise name) age 17 and M (disguise name) age 17. They were discovered hiding in the house of a family member in the Huay Yai region. The 3 teens have admitted to the rape of the 2 girls and have informed police of the existence of the other 20 members; however they did not provide police with names as they claimed to have never known the real names of members also stating that they had separated from the gang several weeks ago.

Police Major Phaksuwat Chomthanom has said that detectives have been working solidly for over a month on this case and are close to being able to arrest the other 20 gang members, following the authorisation of various orders.

Doctors arrested for selling babies

Three bad doctors and a nurse have been arrested for allegedly selling newborn babies after telling mothers that their children had died at a private hospital in Mexico City, authorities said Wednesday.

The police uncovered the scam after one of the women found out her baby was alive and had been sold to another woman for US$1,130 ($1,580), said Mr Luis Genaro, the capital's deputy attorney-general.

The woman gave birth to a girl through Caesarean section at a hospital in a working-class district in October last year.

She said she had heard her baby cry but was later told her baby died and had been cremated.  The mother learned the truth from an email sent to her by a man believed to be the son of the hospital director.

The woman accused of buying the newborn child has been arrested. Three doctors, a nurse and a receptionist from the hospital are also in custody. The police believe that the group sold several newborn babies but have not yet determined how many.

This year, the US State Department described Mexico as "a large source, transit and destination country" for human trafficking. Many victims are undocumented migrants, and women and children trafficked for sexual exploitation, according to a 2009 Trafficking in Persons report.

Black Jesus worshipper kills family

A demon worshipper who worshipped a 'black Jesus' and paid daily homage on Papua New Guinea's mountaintops hacked his family to death with an axe before killing himself, a report said Wednesday.

Rodney Sinod, 37, had repeatedly warned his family he was going to kill them so the world could be free. He turned upon them in a gruesome murder-suicide on Misima Island, 200 kilometres (125 miles) east of mainland PNG.

Sinod attacked his father, sister-in-law and a niece and nephew aged two and five years after returning from his morning worship at the top of a mountain on October 10, The National newspaper said.

He also set upon his 17-year-old niece, chopping off part of her lower hand and striking her in the head with the axe. She survived and is recovering in hospital.

Sinod then fled away from the house, stabbing himself in the chest with a knife and slamming himself against a tree to drive the blade in deeper.

Local police said demon worship posed a serious threat to Misima's residents, with at least six villages engaging in such activities.

Witchcraft and black magic practices are common in PNG and at least six villages following demon cults and even a police officer starting his own demon worshipping church. Locals often blame unexplained deaths and those resulting from illnesses such as AIDS, which is rife in the country, on sorcery. The old and the weak are usually targeted.

The cost in China currency approximately $ 4000 (it is about Rs2000). A factory manager was interviewed and he testified that it is effective because he is a frequent customer. It is a delicacy whereby expensive herbs are added to boil the baby with chicken meat for eight hours of boiling and steaming.

He pointed to his second wife next to him. She is 19 years old. The 62-year-old man testified that they have sex everyday.

After waiting for a couple of weeks he took this reporter to the restaurant when he was informed by restaurant manager that the spare rib soup (local code for baby soup) was now available.

This time it was a couple who have two daughters and this third one was confirmed to be a daughter again. So the couple aborted the baby which was five months old.

Former morgue worker abused corpses

This is really sick. A man who is a former worker at the county morgue for 16 years and is serving time for having sex with a corpse admitted today to having sex with two more bodies during his employment.

Kenneth Douglas, 56, of Westwood pleaded guilty to two counts of gross abuse of a corpse before visiting Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Richard Niehaus. He could be imprisoned for a maximum of three years at his Dec. 10 sentencing.

Douglas was employed for 16 years, from 1976-1992, as a night attendant at the morgue. He told authorities previously that while there, he invited women in and partied with them with drugs and alcohol. He also admitted to having sex with bodies being stored while awaiting autopsies.

He is currently serving a three-year sentence for having sex with another corpse - that of Karen Range, an 18-year-old murder victim who was nearly beheaded in 1982 and had been in the morgue cooler for hours.
