This bat is not just bizarre with wrinkle face, but also has a strong bite with that strong shape skull. This little creature, which weighs just 17g, produces bite forces up to 20% higher than other bats of similar size. But it eats fruit gently. This weird story is reported by researchers in the Journal of Zoology.
The Centurio senex bat has a extremely short and wide skull, the shape of which has long puzzled evolutionary biologists.
