Seems like this grandfather from Tasmania still got lots of stamina. He who turns 70 today has started a 3000 kilometre push scooter journey from Darwin to Adelaide. Last year he ran nearly 6000 kilometres from Shark Bay to Byron Bay for CanTeen. And now he use scooter for this charity work to raise funds also for cancer support organisation CanTeen.
He said that he wants to do something different than people usually do. Mr Vlastik Skvaril said, "A lot of people these days do walking and running so I thought I would do something I haven't seen many people doing."
The major sponsor is Forestry Tasmania, and a few more co sponsors.
