Jumping, exercise, martial art etc robots ~ Weird and wonderful news library

Robots are not just created to play soccer in Robocup but can jump, exercise, do martial art etc. too! Many of Robots that sent to Robocup cannot jump, but here you can see previews of couples of Jumping robots. But some of these jumping robots seems still must have cables connected to them and some not. Maybe you can create flexible robot that can jump, swim, run, exercise, eat and so on after this! :D But don't make them to brag and arrogant with it, but just to give accomodation to peoples ;)

Before we go to the previews, lets take a look to the latest invention of jumping robots. Rhodri Armour et al. introduced the two robots, Jollbot and Glumper, in a recent issue of Bioinspiration & Biomimetics. Jumping robots could provide solutions to traveling across rough terrain, such as climbing stairs and jumping fences, that normally create obstacles for wheeled robots and walking robots. The researchers hope that Jollbot and Glumper, with their biologically inspired mechanisms, will serve as prototypes for future generations of space robots. ... Physorg
