Previously i said True Transparency is the best freeware to make windows border transparent. But now i change my statement :D Actually Border Skin is more cute and more reliable for me. It has a blurry and reflection effect on a transparent border not just plain transparent. And a few other features.
I tested it running along with Yodm3D and it has no messy problem like True Transparency has. Border skin also works fine with 3ds Max 9 and other 3d programs where TT gives problem too. The images below are i.e of how they are look. I applied True Transparency and Border Skin to Windows XP.
