The ridiculous event of Spain's tomato throwing festival, La Tomatina comes again for year 2009. They are battling each other using the powerful weapon, tomato! How come they can co operate each other and celebrate this annual festival. It was made on last Wednesday of August. And the participants are the residents of Buñol, Valencia.
It's estimated around 125,000kg of tomatoes will be use on this food fighting festival. The Valencians throw thousands of tomatoes each year since 1945.
