Peace and hi everybody. Pando is well established as a really nice file transfer medium, especially when we want to send big size file. I know many of you knew about Pando. but there are still many others don't know yet including couples of my friends. And there are also people that hear Pando before but still don't know how to use it.
For those that still don't know what Pando is, Pando is a Peer to Peer (P2P) software program that allows you to send large files to people who also have Pando installed on their computers. So here i want to show you a brief explanation about how to send and receive file using Pando.
How to send file
- Firstly, of course you must install Pando. Get it from http://www.pando.com/download . There are 2 versions, Pando free and Pando Pro. With Pando pro you can send file up to 3GB and a few more advantages. With Pando free you can send up to 1GB only. But for me, that was enough. I just want to explain about how to use Pando free here.

How to send file
- Firstly, of course you must install Pando. Get it from http://www.pando.com/download . There are 2 versions, Pando free and Pando Pro. With Pando pro you can send file up to 3GB and a few more advantages. With Pando free you can send up to 1GB only. But for me, that was enough. I just want to explain about how to use Pando free here.
- After finished install, open the program from the program Icon on the desktop or startup, but it will be auto launched for the first time right after installed. So maybe you don't have to click icon yet. Click the share new button on the upper left corner of the window. Pando gives you 3 options of sharing via Email, IM, or Web.
- I will just show you the Email option right now so select Email. And like in the image below, put the targeted email , drag the file directly from My Computer ( i found this easier than using pando self explorer) to the Files and Folders box, click label 'Click to enter your email address' to put your email address.
- Finally click Send. And it's done. So simple actually :D
- The best thing beside you can send file up to 1GB is, you can pause and resume file transfer at anytime. So you don't have to be afraid of power failure, system failure or not enough time to send because you can pause and resume back at the next time you power on your PC.
How to receive file
To receive file via Email, you need to do a few steps.
- First go to your email, and find email from the sender. Click the link to download in that email as shown in the image below.
- Open that file with Pando.
- Click OK to receive the file.
