A new supermodel in Japan is a robot

The black haired, skinny, shiny robot supermodel is called HRP-4C. Developed by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). The robot height is 158cm, weight 43kg (including battery), the joint position and dimensions refer to the average value of Japanese young women, who achieved near-human appearance.

The main purpose of the application is to the entertainment industry, will be available to the local fashion show. HRP-4C will practise to make her catwalk debut at a Tokyo fashion show next week. For me, this is better than let the women expose their body :D.

HRP-4C has 30 motors in her body that allow her to walk and move its arms, and 8 facial motors for blinking, smiling, and expressing emotions akin to anger and surprise. This humanoid robot based on voice recognition and response operation that can interact with humans.

Humanoid robots are expected as one of the final form of the next generation of robots that have been conducted with energy, including research and development efforts in the private sector to realize the applications of this platform for research and development, Hobby is limited to the subject, the annual market size is only 10 to 20 billion yen.
