Lady Gaga meets Queen Elisabeth 2 at the Royal Variety Performance

Weird Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta or popular with the name Lady Gaga wins the Queen's seal of approval on Monday as she curtsies for her at the Royal Variety Performance, an annual benefit for Britain’s Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund.

The singer, 23, who is up for three Grammy Awards for her smash single 'Poker Face', was sporting a red PVC suit and 20ft cloak topped with a regal Elizabethan-style ruff.

In a trademark bizarre performance, the pop star was suspended 12ft in the air while playing a piano.

Earlier Lulu, Anastacia and Chaka Khan kicked off the evening. Bette Midler, Katherine Jenkins, Whoopi Goldberg, Miley Cyrus, last year's X Factor champ Alexandra Burke and Micheal Buble also featured.

The Queen and Prince Phillip (Merovingian bloodline) was entertained by those world’s top talent at the Royal Variety Performance, with Lady Gaga closing the show.

Miley Cyrus, who was also dressed in red, also meets the queen .......

Lady in Red is the famous symbolic concept in Freemasonry.
